For Entering Students
Financial Aid, Deposits and Billing Information
If you have received an offer of admission and you have filed a 2010-2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you should expect to receive a financial aid award letter via US mail beginning in early March. The mailing will also contain useful information about student loan lender referrals, contractual documents and advice about creating a living expense budget.
If you have not received your award letter or you have questions about your award, please contact the Office of Student Services at 617-323-6662 x524 or email joseph_luszcz@mspp.edu.
You must sign and return one copy of your award letter by the due date indicated on the letter.
If you have not filed your FAFSA and would like to be considered for federal and institutional assistance, you can file on-line at fafsa.ed.gov. You must file no later than June 30 in order to process your application in time for the start date of classes.
For new students, a $1,000 deposit is due at the time of accepting our offer of admission and a second $1,000 registration deposit is due on June 30. Your deposits are credited to your student account as cash payments towards your first semester costs. You will be issued an invoice for payment of the second deposit.
Students who borrowed from the federal student loan programs prior to enrollment at MSPP must provide to the MSPP Registrar a loan deferment request form from the lender(s) or school(s) that originated the loan.
Tuition invoices are issued approximately 45 days prior to the start date of each semester and full payment is due by the date indicated on the statement. Billing questions can be directed to the Office of Student Services at 617-323-6662 x 524. Be sure to notify the Office of Student Services of any address changes. You can also access your student account records on-line through the Secure Student Information Gateway (SSIG) available via the MSPP MyCampus web page.
If you are using financial aid to pay your living expenses, your living expense check will be available for pick up at the Office of Student Services by the end of the first week of classes. Your financial aid is disbursed in semester installments.
