MSPP faculty are participating alongside seven Massachusetts' college administrators to develop curriculum for the Children's Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) training program. The training is required as part of a workforce development initiative of the state to ensure proper systems of care for children. MSPP Doctoral Student/Intern, Mary Brolly, co-facilitates a New Parents group, at WarmLines. The New Parents groups are free for first-time moms and/or dads with babies up to 6 mos. Each group meets with a profesional facilitator and provides a wonderful opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, make new friends, and get some support. Groups Discuss developmental issues, expectations as new parents, changing relationships with family members, child care options, and much more. To learn more, visit www.warmlines.org.
