Tuition & FeES
Please note that all application fees and deposits are non-refundable. The Board of Trustees meets in January of each year to set the tuition and fees for the next academic year.
Tuition
Tuition and fees are due and payable upon receipt of your bill. A student experiencing financial difficulty may make special arrangements with the Associate Vice President of Finance. Under this plan, students are charged 1 percent interest per month on the unpaid balance.

Tuition is charged on a per credit basis. The following schedule of tuition per credit is effective at the start of the summer semester 2013. The School reserves the right to add or change without prior written notice any of the fees or charges listed below at any time.

In order to secure a place in the program, applicants who accept the offer of admission must submit the required acceptance deposit of $1,000. This non-refundable deposit will be applied to the first semester’s tuition. The remaining tuition and fees are due and payable on or before the scheduled payment date at the start of each semester.
Summer semester tuition is due in full on or before May 1; Fall semester tuition is due in full on or before August 1; Spring semester tuition is due in full on or before January 1. Students who fail to meet these payment deadlines are restricted from registering for the subsequent semester, attending classes, receiving transcripts or participating in the School’s program until all outstanding financial obligations to the School are met. Students must pay all outstanding balances at least two weeks prior to graduation date. Failure to do so will prevent participation in commencement, conferral of degree, awarding of diploma and access to transcript(s).
Fees & Charges
APA Prep Course Fee
The APA Prep Course Fee is assessed at the rate of 1/2 credit for students enrolling in the course.
Audit Fee
Cost of auditing a course is 1/2 regular tuition rate.
Continuing Doctoral Project Fee (Doctoral students only)
A Continuing Doctoral Project Fee is charged to students who continue to work on the Doctoral Project beyond the required 10 credits. Students must pay the Continuing Project Fee until the Doctoral Project is complete. The fee is charged at the rate of three credits per semester. Students holding their colloquium within the posted semester add/drop deadline will not be charged the Continuing Doctoral Project Fee for the semester.
Extended Internship Fee (Clinical Doctoral students only)
The Extended Internship Fee is assessed at the rate of 1/2 credit per semester for students who extend the internship above and beyond 2,000 hours.
Graduation Fee
A $350 fee is charged during the semester preceding the student's graduation.
Interest Charge
Students who fail to pay the semester's tuition in full prior to the start of classes each semester will be charged 1 percent interest per month on the unpaid balance.
Late Registration Fee
Students registering during the published late registration period will be charged a $100 fee. Students should be aware that late registrants are frequently unable to enroll in the courses that they prefer since courses may already be filled.
Leave of Absence Fee
$100 per semester.
Transcripts
There is currently no fee for official transcripts
Reinstatement Fee
A $250 fee is assessed at the time a student requests reinstatement to a program following suspension for failure to register for classes or any cause for suspension.
Replacement ID Card: $15

Students who withdraw from a course are eligible to receive a tuition refund based on the date the written notice of withdrawal is received in the Registrar’s Office, according to the following schedule:
- During the add/drop period—100%
- During the 2nd week of the semester—75%
- During the 3rd and 4th weeks of the semester—50%
- During the 5th week of the semester—25%
- After the 5th week of the semester—No Refund
Fall/Spring Program Withdrawal and Refund Policy
Students who withdraw from a program are eligible to receive a tuition refund based on the date the written notice of withdrawal is received in the Registrar’s Office, according to the following schedule:
- Prior to the start of classes—100% of the semester’s tuition
- During the add/drop period—90%
- During the 2nd week of the semester—75%
- During the 3rd and 4th weeks of the semester—50%
- During the 5th week of the semester—25%
- After the 5th week of the semester—No Refund
*First year students who withdraw during the first semester will forfeit the entire admissions deposit and will receive a tuition refund calculated on the proper percentage of the tuition minus the admissions deposit.

Students who withdraw from a course are eligible to receive a tuition refund based on the date the written notice of withdrawal is received in the Registrar’s Office, according to the following schedule:
- Prior to the 2nd class—100% of the course’s tuition
- After the 2nd class—No refund
Withdrawal and Refund Policy for the following programs:
- MA in Organizational Psychology
- PsyD in Leadership Psychology
- MA in Applied Psychology in Higher Education Student Personnel Administration
- MA in Media Psychology
- Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching
- Graduate Certificate in Health Coaching
Students may not withdraw from a course in these programs. Student who choose to withdraw from a course are automatically withdrawn from the program. Students are eligible to receive a tuition refund based on the date the written notice of withdrawal is received in the Registrar’s Office, according to the following schedule:
- Prior to the 1st day of the 1st course of the semester 100% of the semester’s tuition
- During the 1st week of the 1st course of the semester—90%
- During the 2nd week of the 1st course of the semester—50%
- During the 3rd week of the 1st course of the semester—25%
- After the 3rd week of 1st course of the semester—No Refund
*First year students who withdraw during the first semester will forfeit the entire admissions deposit and will receive a tuition refund calculated on the proper percentage of the tuition minus the admissions deposit.
