Apply To The Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology Program
In the links below you will find application information to the doctoral program in clinical psychology. Transcripts and official test scores should be sent to the MSPP Admissions Office to arrive on or before the set deadline. All other materials must be supplied electronically through your online application account.
Pre-Requisites
Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.
Pre-Requisite Courses must be completed before enrollment
General Psychology; Abnormal Psychology AND two out of the following six courses: Developmental Psychology; Social Psychology; Personality Theories; Behavioral Statistics; Tests & Measurements; Physiological Psychology.

Academic achievement at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels (Although there is no cut-off GPA requirement, 3.0 (of 4.0) is expected).
Test scores are one component of the total application and so there are no cutoff scores. We generally look for a combined score of 1150 or above on the Verbal and Quantitative Sections of the General GRE (approximately 310 on the REVISED GRE) and at least 4.0 on the Analytical Writing Section. Applicants who are non-native speakers of English may be required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) to provide evidence of their level of English as it is spoken and written in North America. TOEFL combined scores (listening, structure and written expression, speaking and reading) need to be 637 (paper-based), 270 (computer based), 110 (internet based) or higher.

After Acceptance
Advisors are assigned in May.
First year Field Education search begins when the acceptance deposit is received.
Registration for Fall Semester begins in June.
