Apply To The Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology Program
In the links below you will find application information to the doctoral program in clinical psychology. Transcripts and official test scores should be sent to the MSPP Admissions Office to arrive on or before the set deadline. All other materials must be supplied electronically through your online application account.
The doctoral program in clinical psychology admits an entering class of approximately 50-60 students every fall. The mean age of entering students in the past five years has been 27. Eighty percent are women, 20% men, 13% minorities, 12% foreign born students, and fewer than 1% disabled students.
Pre-Requisites
Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.
Pre-Requisite Courses must be completed before enrollment
General Psychology; Abnormal Psychology AND two out of the following six courses: Developmental Psychology; Social Psychology; Personality Theories; Behavioral Statistics; Tests & Measurements; Physiological Psychology.
Academic achievement at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels (Although there is no cut-off GPA requirement, 3.0 (of 4.0) is expected).

Application Deadlines
for Early Consideration: Wednesday, December 2, 2009
for General Consideration: Wednesday, January 13, 2010.
After general consideration completed applications will only be considered on a space available basis.
Admission for 2010 is closed.
Interviews
for Early Consideration: Friday & Saturday, January 22-23, 2010
for General Consideration: Saturday, March 6, 2010 & Saturday, March 13, 2010.
Interview invitations for Early Consideration are released in late December and for General Consideration in mid February. Interview confirmation is required by the date specified on your invitation.
Admissions Offers
Offers are sent electronically the second week of March. The deadline to accept or decline an admissions offer is April 15 (APA Uniform Response Date).
After Acceptance
Advisors are assigned in May.
First year Field Placement search begins when the acceptance deposit is received.
Registration for Fall Semester begins in June.
Orientation week precedes the beginning of classes (see academic calendar for details).
