In addition to our formal events and interviews, we know that the best way to learn about any program is to talk with people who have been through it. What We Look ForMSPP seeks a diverse group of students who will form the next community of practitioners. A high level of academic and clinical aptitude are essential, as is a set of personal characteristics that will enable our students to function creatively and effectively in solving a wide variety of human problems. Assessment of this potential is made in a variety of ways, including past academic performance, practical experience (if available), personal qualifications, references, and indications of the applicant’s commitment to the profession and the community. Our StudentsThe mean age of the entering students in the past five years has been 27: 75% women, 25% men, 13% minorities, and 13% foreign born students, and fewer than 1% of students with disabilities.
