At William James College, the subject matter is a rich mix of psychology, business, organizational development, coaching theory, principles and practices, and assessment. You and your cohort, individuals from diverse backgrounds, will gain an exceptionally strong foundation of cutting-edge knowledge.

You will study in a challenging and academically rigorous environment and, upon graduation, earn an ICF approved certificate in Executive Coaching. The program develops working knowledge and skills in core competencies of professional executive coaching.

Who

The GCEC program is for those interested in coaching theory and practice to become internal or external coaches or to enhance their existing skills.

The Executive Coaching Program is for individuals in serious pursuit of a well-grounded graduate education in executive coaching from a recognized, fully accredited academic institution. The multi-disciplinary education includes a theoretical foundation, practical training, and supervised practicum leading to a certificate in seven months.

  • 7-month graduate certificate program.
  • 15 credits total.
  • Must complete a supervised practicum.

Blended format which includes a weekend-in-residence (WIR) in Newton, MA after each course.
