Jackiejackieqmspp: I'm Jackie, a MSPP Higher Education online student. I recently graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College just outside of Rochester, NY and I live in Spencerport, NY with my best friend /husband/ boy-roommate and no pets or babies just yet, thank the Lord. I'm into crafting, reading, frozen brownie batter, twinkle lights, and spending time with my cute new husband. I currently hold down 2 part-time jobs, but am looking to get into Student Affairs once I complete the HESPA program. Working with college students is my passion, because it feels more like playing, and I'm looking forward to developing my career in Higher Education. More…

Jenmsppjen: I’m Jen and I am a student in the online Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology program at MSPP. My interests include languages, baking vegan goodies, and exploring new places near and far. More…

Student Testimonials

Maria Katsarou
Maria KatsarouMaria is a first year student in the PsyD in Leadership Psychology program. She grew up in Lagos Nigeria, where she attended a German school, and is now Athens based where she has set up her own business after having worked in the corporate world in various Human Resources positions. With an initial academic background in Human Resources and Psychology her interests include multicultural areas and working with underprivileged populations.  Additionally, Maria has set up an informal organization for stray animals. "I was looking for more than a year and a half for a program that would suit my needs. When I discovered MSPP and eventually met with Dr Gregory, I knew I had found what I wanted. Saying that the program has exceeded my expectations is an understatement; it has actually changed my life and I am only in year one! I feel fortunate and grateful to have this opportunity and meet all these amazing people from the faculty to my cohort".  Maria has co-authored the book 'Under Pressure – understanding and managing pressure and stress at the workplace', published by Marshall Cavendish International (UK), which was recently also released in Brazilian and Chinese
