Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) In Clinical Psychology Program

Time to Completion

MSPP students must complete all doctoral program requirements within seven (7) academic from the date of matriculation. Students who are granted a leave of absence during their tenure in the program must complete all requirements within eight (8) years of matriculation.

In the seven year period beginning 2002 through June 2008, 233 students have graduated from MSPP’s PsyD Program. Of these 233:

  • 2 students (.9%) completed the program in less than 4 years (these students were accepted with advanced standing status)
  • 122 students (52.4%) completed the program within 4 academic years
  • 58 students (24.9%) within 5 academic years
  • 20 students (8.6%) within 7 academic years
  • 13 students (5.6%) took more than 7 years to complete

The median time to complete is 5 years, and the mean is 5.5 years
