Clinical Psychopharmacology (MS) Program
Letter from the Program Director
Dear Colleague,
Increasingly, effective mental health interventions involve an integrated approach which offers both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. Many psychologists are eager to pursue a stimulating and rigorous course of study that will allow them to become well versed and competent in clinical psychopharmacology. If you are considering further training in clinical psychopharmacology, I invite you to learn more about the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology’s Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology.
Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychopharmacology
MSPP is now accepting applications for our seventh entering class commencing in September 2008. This two year degree program is a 30 credit, 450 hour program offered over four semesters. We are excited about our program re-design which will allow more flexibility as we expand our distance learning format. Students will be in residence at our Boston campus for 3, four day week-ends, (Thursday through Sunday) in September, November and January of Year I and January, November and May in Year II. In between these week-end intensives, students will access regular lectures on-line and participate in student chat rooms and in faculty online discussion groups. Assessments will occur both online and on campus. This new model allows working professionals to accommodate the program to the demands of their schedules.
MSPP has an outstanding faculty from the fields of psychology, adult and child psychiatry, family practice medicine, nursing, pharmacology, physiology and neuroscience. All of our graduates who have taken the APA, PEP exam have passed.
Do you have more than 300 hours of organized, sequential CE training in clinical psychopharmacology?
If you do, you may find our training model attractive in allowing you to move through the program at your own pace.
We invite you to make direct inquiries to admissions@mspp.edu. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Stanley Berman, Ph.D.
