Clinical Psychopharmacology (MS) Program

Program Format

The Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology is a two-year, four-semester program. Students attend three, four-day on-campus modules in both Year I and Year II. These required weekends meet in September, November and January in year I and September, November and May  in year  II.

Instruction on MSPP Online Learning
Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology I: Lectures

November Module:
Introduction to Physical Assessment and Laboratory and Pathophysiology II

January Module:
Neuroscience Lectures


Year II
September Module:
Introduction to Pharmacology
Pharmacokinetics
Pharmacodynamics

November Module:
Clinical Psychopharmacology lectures

January Module:
Legal, Ethical and Professional Issues
Effective Practice in a Diverse World
Integrative Models of Care


In between modules, students will participate in regular lectures, chat rooms and faculty lead discussion groups. Assessments will be both online and during the modules. Weekly reading assignments are an important component of the curriculum.
