Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology PROGRAM (MA)

Part Time Program

While this program is not designed for part-time study, the curriculum and format are designed to accommodate a working professional and family person. The MA in Organizational Psychology a fast-paced,  intensive, 12-month, 30-credit degree program designed for working professionals who desire to expand, deepen, and sharpen their skills in leading and sustaining changes in organizations. The courses are sequential and build upon each other. Courses are conducted at an onsite monthly intensive weekends followed by and integrated with online and distance learning modules to accommodate the work and family schedules of students.

Courses typically begin on Friday evenings (7:30 – 9:30PM) and continue through Saturday and Sunday (8AM-4:30PM).  Students are expected to have read the required material and to be prepared for lecture, discussion, case exercises, presentations, and small team interactions/projects.  Intensive weekends are followed by four weeks of lectures, discussion groups, and team work online (4-6 hours a week). Final integration of course content, group presentations and student evaluations occur on the Friday evening at the end of the fourth week of the course. The next course in the sequence begins on the Saturday of that same weekend.
