Their credential enables them engage with managers and leaders of organizations helping them build and achieve key business results.
Q: What do Organizational Psychologists do?
A: Organizational psychologists work both within organizations and as independent consultants. They apply psychological principles and research methods to the workplace in the interest of improving productivity and the quality of work life. Many serve as human resources specialists, helping organizations with staffing, training, and employee development,t and employee morale and retention. Others work as systems consultants in the areas of leadership coaching, team-building, strategic planning, quality management, and facilitating organizational change.

A: While this program is not designed for part-time study, the curriculum and format are designed to accommodate a working professional and family person. The MA in Organizational Psychology is a fast-paced, intensive, 12-month, 30-credit degree program designed for working professionals who desire to expand, deepen, and sharpen their skills in leading and sustaining changes in organizations. The courses are sequential and build upon each other. Courses are conducted at an onsite monthly intensive weekend followed by and integrated with online and distance learning module to accommodate the work and family schedules of students.
