Educational Technology

MSPP’s MA in Organizational Psychology program falls under the “Blended” course delivery method, which means it incorporates both online and on-campus study. None of the courses in this program are fully online.

Each course is 4 or 5 weeks in length and includes:

  • Online modules which include readings, papers, online lectures, and discussion forums
  • One on-campus weekend-in-residence (WIR) that meets for a full Saturday and Sunday*
  • At least one and sometimes more “LIVE” distance learning lectures*
  • Concurrent field placement course and field assignment

*REQURED: Please see scheduled dates on Curriculum and Class Schedule webpage.

The on-campus requirement for this program is typically once every month, so students who do not live within commuting distance to MSPP are expected to make travel arrangements accordingly.

"One of the neat things about our organizational psychology program here at MSPP is that we have a blended learning model. By blending various face-to-face and distance learning techniques we make our program attractive both for students who aren't local as well as those who have full time jobs. Additionally, our eclectic approach to learning models the best spirit of diversity. People learn differently; some by reading, some by hearing, and some by doing. Our program appreciates these differences and creates a learning environment that pushes students outside their comfort zone while recognizing personal differences.”
