Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology Program (MA) Blended and Online Only Options

Educational Technology

MSPP’s MA in Organizational Psychology program is a “Blended” program that includes both online and on-campus study. Each course is 5 weeks in length and includes.

  • Online modules which include readings, papers, online lectures, and discussion forums
  • One on-campus weekend-in-residence (WIR) that meets for a full Saturday and Sunday*
  • “LIVE” distance learning lectures*
  • Concurrent field placement course and field assignment

*REQURED: Please see scheduled dates on Curriculum and Class Schedule webpage.

The on-campus requirement for this program is typically once every month, so students who do not live within commuting distance to MSPP are expected to make travel arrangements accordingly.

“Learning in an applied program is the best way to internalize the work of organizational development (OD) at a deep level. The use of case study supports the application of OD principles to real world settings. Additionally, the organizations that serve as field sites, become petri dishes in which our student interns can see, first hand, how the theories they are learning in class play out. As such, learning in our program is very dynamic and focused on understanding the challenges organizations face today.”

—Kathryn Stanley, Core Faculty,
Organizational Leadership and Psychology
