Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology PROGRAM (MA)

Degree Requirements

Students earn the Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology after completing 30 semester credits and meeting other requirements as described below. Students are expected to complete all requirements for the Master’s degree within one year from the first semester of enrollment.  Student progress toward program completion is reviewed on a semi-annual basis with the major advisor.

Coursework
The student must complete a planned program that includes 30 semester credits of coursework.  The student’s program must be approved by the faculty advisor. 

Up to 3 credits of highly equivalent coursework earned at MSPP as a non-matriculated student may be transferred in and credited towards the degree.  Up to 3 credits of highly equivalent coursework earned as a non-matriculated student at other institutions may be accepted with faculty approval.  The determination of coursework equivalence is made by the program director or designated faculty committee.

Capstone Project
Students complete a capstone project which applies and demonstrates the integration and use of knowledge and techniques that have been acquired over the months. In addition to being pre-approved by the instructor, the projects must be drawn from the students’ workplaces and include documented evidence of the scope and depth.
