Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology Program (MA) Blended and Online Only Options
“Online Only” option is enrolling now for May 2012
Curriculum
The MA program is an intensive 10-month, 30-credit degree program designed for working professionals who desire to expand, deepen, and sharpen their skills in leading and sustaining changes in organizations. The blended program begins with several weeks of reading, online lectures, and assignments followed by a monthly intensive weekend-in-residence (WIR). The WIRs are held from 8:00 am - 5:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday once a month. The blended program begins August of each year.
The online program is designed for those outside of the Boston region. The online only program begins in May. The content and requirements (with the exception of the field placement which is a field project in the online only program) are the same.
The cohort model is central to our educational approach. As a cohort, you will be in a class of people who will take the same courses in the same sequence as you throughout the duration of the program. We place a great deal of value on peer learning, and expect our cohorts to include students who have practiced some of the subject matter in their professional lives. Finally, “Experiential Learning” will be employed over more traditional methods of education.
2011-2012 Class Schedule for the Blended Program:
Note: the weekends-in-residence (WIR) are always held from 8:00 am - 5:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday, unless otherwise noted.
