Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology Program (MA) Blended and Online Only Options
The MA in Organizational Psychology programs are intensive 12-month, 30-credit (24 course hours and 6 field project hours) degree programs designed for working professionals who desire to expand, deepen, and sharpen their skills in leading and sustaining change in organizations. The blended and online only cohorts are given the same curriculum (other than the experiential weekend in residences) and taught by the same instructor concurently. Classes include several weeks of reading, online lectures, and assignments. For the blended program the online/distance portion is followed by an intensive weekend-in-residence (WIR). The WIRs are held from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday following the online portion of each course. The programs begin and conclude in August of each year.
The cohort model is central to our educational approach. As a cohort, you will be in a class of people who will take the same courses in the same sequence as you throughout the duration of the program. We place a great deal of value on peer learning, and expect our cohorts to include students who have practiced some of the subject matter in their professional lives. Finally, “Experiential Learning” will be employed over more traditional methods of education.
