STATISTICS AND RESEARCH METHODOLOGY II
(4 credits)
In Statistics II and Quantitative Methods, students will be introduced to more advanced statistical procedures such as multiple regression, Analysis of Variance, and Analysis of Covariance. A strong emphasis will be placed on issues instrinsic to experimental and non-experimental research methodology. Research design components such as data collection, sampling techniques, and validity -- internal and external -- will be examined. Throughout the course, students will read and evaluate examples of both psychology and leadership literature while evaluating the methodology employed and interpreting the reported results. The course will conclude with each participant planning, designing. and presenting a small scale, quantitative research project proposal.
Open only to students in the doctoral program in Leadership Psychology.
