Organizational and Leadership Psychology DepartmentCourse DescriptionsORG HE520— This course will examine the historical, philosophical and theoretical foundations of the student personnel/student affairs profession. Students will learn about the purpose, organization, and functions of the various student services functional areas (i.e. residence life, student activities, admissions, etc.), the role the student affairs professional plays in the college student experience and the profession’s relationship to the academic mission of the institution. Open only to students in the masters program in Applied Psychology in Higher Education Student Personnel Administration. Updated 5/1/13 |
