Forensic Psychology (MA) Program

Internship Project & Comprehensive Examination

Internship Project
Students must satisfactorily complete a internship project in their area of specialized interest under the supervision of a faculty member, which is provided through the Internship Seminar.  Completion of this seminar involves a substantial (20-30 page) written paper, including an extensive literature review, and an oral presentation of the student’s project topic.

Comprehensive Exam
Each student will be required to pass a comprehensive examination to meet all degree requirements.  The comprehensive examination will be content-based and designed to assess the student’s mastery of material learned in each course during the student’s tenure.  Comprehensives will be offered, at minimum, twice per year.
