Master of Arts in Forensic & Counseling Psychology (MA)
Educational Technology
MSPP’s MA in Forensic & Counseling Psychology program falls under the “Blended” course delivery method, which means it incorporates both online and on-campus study. None of the courses in this program are fully online.
Each course lasts 8 weeks and includes:
- (8) one-week online modules which include online lectures and discussion forums
- (1) on-campus weekend-in-residence (WIR) that meets for a full Saturday and Sunday
- (1) weekly on-campus Clinical Seminar meeting (2 hours in the evening) during the Fall and Spring semesters
- Clinical field placement (1st year practicum, 12 to 16 hours per week; and 2nd year internship, 20 to 24 hours per week) that lasts from late August, through the winter break, until the end of May.
Due to the weekly on-campus and field placement requirements of this program, students should live within commuting distance to MSPP.
