All M.A. Forensic Psychology students are required to take the following courses:
Techniques of Psychology Appraisal and Assessment Child & Adolescent Psychopathology Counseling Theories and Techniques Life Span Development Forensic Seminar I Professional Issues and Ethics Adult Psychopathology Diversity and Cross-Cultural Psychology Group Counseling and Psychotherapy Law and Mental Health Forensic Seminar II Research Methods and Program Evaluation
Students are required to complete Field Placements in conjunction with Practicum and Internship Seminars:
Field Placement (1 & 2) Clinical Practicum Seminar-Helping Relationships I: Counseling Practice Clinical Practicum Seminar II-Helping Relationships II: Application of Counseling Theories and Techniques
Students are required to take three (3) s:pecialized courses for a total of nine (9) credits from the offerings below
Consultation and Testimony in Forensic Psychology Substance Abuse Evaluation and Treatment Psychology of Terrorism Behavioral Criminology Sex Offender Evaluation and Treatment
One additional elective for three (3) credits is required from the list below:
Children and Adolescents with Special Needs Psychopharmacology: Theory and Practice Crisis Interventions Introduction to Neuropsychology
