MSPP’s program in executive coaching stands apart from other training programs. In fact, MSPP offers the only accredited graduate school program in executive coaching in New England. You will study in a challenging and academically rigorous environment and, upon graduation, earn an ICF approved certificate in Executive Coaching.

Program Overview

At MSPP, the subject matter is a rich mix of psychology, business, organizational development, coaching theory, principles and practices, and assessment. You and your cohort, individuals from diverse backgrounds, will gain an exceptionally strong foundation of cutting-edge knowledge.

Program Philosophy

MSPP strongly believes in the value of experiential education. The program culminates with a practicum where you will work with an executive to strengthen his or her leadership. Our field sites include a variety of settings in non-profit, healthcare and corporate environments. Your work will be supervised by a master coach. In the course of the four month practicum you will participate in regular peer coaching with your cohort group of fellow students who, as working professionals with backgrounds in diverse fields, will enhance your learning and skills.

Program Outcomes

The program develops working knowledge and skills in core competencies of professional executive coaching:

  • The psychology of individuals, relationships, and groups in organizations
  • How businesses work
  • Coaching principles, practices, skills and techniques
