Introduction to Professional Executive Coaching

This course covers an overview of the professional practice of executive coaching and the principles of psychology and business which are most applicable to the practice.  It uses diverse modes of learning including readings, case applications, discussion, and presentations.  In addition to the Monday night classes there are two full Saturdays.  Attendance on the Saturdays is dependent on the student’s backgrounds in psychology and business.  The first Saturday is an intensive workshop to examine and review the readings on psychological principles and practices.  The second Saturday workshop examines and reviews the readings on business principles and practices.  All students attend all of the Monday classes for an introduction to executive coaching and an understanding of how psychology and business principles and practices apply in executive coaching cases.
