Skills and Practices in Psycho-Spiritual Counseling
Spiritually oriented counseling approaches will be presented drawing from psychological sources (Rogers, CBT, psychodynamic, humanistic, body-mind techniques) as well as religious traditions (meditation, prayer, stories and texts, etc). Clinical skills will be taught through dialogue, exercises and case analyses with emphasis on how and when to introduce spirituality into the therapeutic alliance.
