CC 522—Diversity & Cross Cultural Psychology

This course examines the interaction between sociocultural variables and mental health. Students will learn frameworks for understanding and working with persons from diverse backgrounds and will examine closely how their own background and biases can impact their capacity to provide respectful, competent, and effective counseling services.
