| Description: |
Many couples today are coping with infertility and there are increasing options to consider in both treatment and family building. Most couples are out-of-sync to some degree in how they weigh the loss of fertility and in which alternatives they might accept and at what point in the process. Supporting these couples requires some familiarity with the growing alternatives (various types of adoption, advance treatment or third party reproductive options such as surrogacy, donor ovum, donor sperm, embryo transfer) as well as an understanding of the dynamics unique to each couple. |
