Stanley D. Klein, Ph.D., has spoken on the topic of communicating with parents of children with special needs at clinical and educational settings throughout the US. He co-founded Exceptional Parent magazine in 1971 and served as editor-in-chief until 1997. He has co-edited three books in recent years: You Will Dream New Dreams: Inspiring Personal Stories by Parents of Children with Disabilities, Reflections from a Different Journey: What Adults with Disabilities Wish All Parents Knew, and From There to Here: Stories of Adjustment to Spinal Cord Injury. |
