Bio:
Dr. Harder has been a faculty member of MSPP since 1990 and has been a professor of Clinical Psychology at Tufts University in Medford, since 1979. Dr. Harder teaches Research Methods and Personality Assessment at MSPP. He also teaches Abnormal Psychology; Theories and Techniques of Major Psychotherapy Approaches; Personality Psychology; Supervision of Internship Field Work; Introductory Psychology; and Cultural Conceptions of the Self (focusing on Japanese, Native American, US a la 1950, West African, and Victorian British cultures) at Tufts University in addition to having a part-time private practice in individual psychotherapy, family/couples work, and assessment. His major research interests include shame and guilt and their correlates in normal and abnormal personalities, life events stress, outcome in psychopathology, and experiences of spirituality.
