Margaret F. Sablove, EdD

Margaret F. Sablove, Ed.D. is a core faculty member of the Counseling Program at The Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Sablove earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, and her Certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy from the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health in New York City. She has been teaching at the graduate level for 27 years, and has been in clinical practice for 35 years. In addition, Dr. Sablove is a specialist in the treatment of eating disorders, and is the consultant for the Cambridge Eating Disorders Center.

Her teaching interests include psychodynamic theory and clinical process. She is an instructor at the Harvard Medical School, and a member of the Massachusetts Psychological Association. Dr Sablove participates in a peer supervision group that has been meeting for 20 years, and maintains a private practice in Cambridge for adult individuals and couples.
