Brian D. Ott, PhD

Dr. Ott is a clinical psychologist with over 25 years of clinical experience and specialization in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies. His clinical training included work with Joseph Wolpe and Albert Ellis. His primary area of clinical practice is the application of exposure and response prevention and cognitive restructuring to anxiety disorders. The majority of his practice is devoted to patients suffering from panic disorder, phobias and obsessive-compulsive disorder. As coordinator of behavior therapies at the Massachusetts General Hospital Health Care Center at Charlestown, he serves as behavioral health care liaison to the adult medicine and specialty departments using a collaborative care model of intervention. Dr. Ott has been at MSPP since 1990 and teaches Clinical Seminar I, Learning Theory, Research Methods, and Clinical Practice of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies.
