Dr. Osher earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology (with a specialization in neuropsychology) from Northwestern University. He completed his pre-doctoral clinical znternship at Massachusetts General Hospital in the neuropsychology track and a post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology through the Harvard-Partners Consortium in Clinical Neuropsychology, which is housed jointly at Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women's Hospitals. Within these settings, he worked with both adult and pediatric patients with various neurological, psychiatric, developmental, and medical conditions, including epilepsy, ADHD, learning disabilities, brain injury, primary psychiatric disorders, stroke, brain tumor, general medical conditions, and neurodegenerative diseases. He is also currently on the executive committee of the Association for Doctoral Education in Clinical Neuropsychology, which aims to advocate for doctoral education and training in clinical neuropsychology as well as promote appropriate standards for education, training, and research at the doctoral level within the field.

Dr. Osher is Director of the Neuropsychology Concentration within the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program. He teaches Physiological Psychology, Functional Neuroanatomy and Neuropathology, Adult Neuropsychological Assessment, and Advanced Neuropsychological Case Conceptualization. He also conducts neuropsychological evaluations of adults throughout the lifespan in private practice and through Lahey Behavioral Health Services.
