Samuel J. Moncata, PsyD

Dr. Moncata has been part of MSPP's faculty since 1994 and teaches Psychological Assessment I and II and Advanced Assessment: Integrated Team Clinic. His areas of interest are psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults. His specialty areas include learning style issues and differences; adolescent depression; trauma; cognition within personality development; cognitive style and behavioral correlates; predicting dangerousness/cognitive controls; educating troubled youth; pervasive developmental disorders and Asperger's Syndrome. He is currently the Director of the Center for LifeSpan Development, Inc. and the Attending Child and Adolescent Psychologist, McLean Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts. Dr. Moncata has also been an instructor at the at the Harvard Medical School, Department of Psychiatry.
