Dr. Micco currently teaches Clinical Practice in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies at MSPP. She was awarded her doctorate in Psychology from Boston University in 2007. While at BU, she received her primary research and clinical training at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders. She then completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital (child/adult track). Dr. Micco is now a research psychologist with the Clinical and Research Program in Pediatric Psychopharmacology Research at MGH, a staff psychologist in the Outpatient Department of Child Psychiatry at MGH, and an Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. She was recently awarded the Kaplen Fellowship on Depression from HMS to conduct research on using a computerized paradigm to retrain cognitive biases in depressed adolescents. Clinically, she specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy for anxiety and mood disorders in children, adolescents, and adults.
