Franny Elson Levene
Franny Levene is a certified health and wellness coach at Tufts Health Plan where she serves over two thousand employees with on-site individual and group coaching sessions. Franny helps her clients realize health-related goals in weight reduction, stress management, nutrition, exercise, smoking cessation, and work/life balance - and achieve lasting lifestyle change.
In addition to her role as the practicum instructor for the MSPP Health Coaching Program, Franny maintains a private coaching practice enabling pregnant women and new mothers to clarify and realize their vision of motherhood.
Earlier in her career, Franny coached oncology patients on stress reduction techniques at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and served as a career coach at the Harvard School of Public Health. While working as an epidemiologist at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, she implemented on-site wellness programs for hundreds of employees, educated hospital administrators and healthcare providers on best practices in public health, and mentored public health nurses throughout the state.
Franny earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of Michigan and an M.S. in International Health from the Harvard School of Public Health. She was certified as a wellness coach through WellCoaches Corporation.
