Stacey Lambert

Stacey Lambert, PsyD

Dr. Lambert is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in community mental health. She has particular interest in working with underserved populations including minorities, the elderly, and people with serious psychiatric disabilities. She came to MSPP in September 2010 to serve as the Director of Diversity Education and Inclusion as well as the Associate Director of Operations for the Clinical PsyD program. Additionally, she teaches Diversity and Cross-cultural Psychology. Prior to coming to MSPP, Dr. Lambert served as an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University and the Director of Internship training for the Nova Psychological Services Center and the Nova Consortium. She has also served as an APA site visitor, private consultant on accreditation issues, and associate editor for Professional Psychology: Research and Practice. Dr. Lambert routinely presents her work at State and National Conferences. Additionally, she served as the Board Chair of Broward Housing Solutions for four years and Vice Chair for two years. She completed her pre-doctoral internship and post doctoral fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and earned her doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern.

Dr. Stacey Lambert presented at Unibe University in San Jose, Costa Rica on August 9 to a group of about 100 mental health professionals. The topic was the application of Cognitive Behavioral therapy to the treatment of Bipolar disorder and Schizophrenia. The title of the presentation was "Aplicación de la Terapia Cognitiva-Conductual en el Tratamiento del Trastorno Bipolar y Trastornos Psicóticos"
