Dr. LaFarr is an alumnus of MSPP and serves on both the Clinical Psy.D. faculty and Organizational and Leadership Faculty. He currently serves MSPP as the Director of Enrollment Management and Registration Coordinator for the Clinical Psychology Department since receiving his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2010. Dr. LaFarr has extensive experience in Higher Education Administration serving in a diverse number of roles in a variety of institutions including: Harvard University, the University of California, the University of Denver, Brandeis University, and Johnson State College.
Dr. LaFarr’s clinical interests include work with adolescents and adults with a particular focus on serving diverse populations. His teaching interests are in the areas of integrating theory and practice and multicultural clinical competency. During Dr. LaFarr’s internships he received clinical training in adolescent inpatient settings, community mental health and college counseling; he completed a clinical post-doctoral fellowship at the Brookline Community Mental Health Center. His clinical work focuses on anxiety and mood disorders, grief and loss, adjustment disorders, medical and health concerns, relationship and coming-out issues. He currently practices as a clinical psychologist at the Brandeis University.
