Robert Childs, PsyD
Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology
Dr. Childs teaches courses in the Clinical Psychology program, specializing in the areas of Spirituality and Jungian Psychology, Humanistic and Existential Psychology as well as Clinical Supervision. Having worked out in private practice in the greater Boston area for many years, his clinical specialties include the Psychology of Adoption, working with artists in various mediums on creativity and the psychological process, as well as working with the Psychology of Twinship. Dr. Childs also has a long-standing special interest in the human psychological response, as well as to the communication issues, associated with global warming.
He received his PsyD from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology and has a Masters Degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Childs also was awarded two years of Special Status at the Harvard Divinity School, as well as having attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia where he studied painting. When not practicing psychology he can also be found playing violin with his music group Childsplay.
