Allyson Cherkasky, PhD
Dr. Cherkasky is a clinical psychologist who specializes in behavioral medicine. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Boston University and earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Alameda campus of the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP), where she specialized in Health Psychology. She interned at the Brockton / West Roxbury Veterans’ Administration Medical Center and completed advanced, post-doctoral raining in the Behavioral Medicine Program at the Cambridge Health Alliance. In the past, Dr. Cherkasky has held positions with the Women’s Health Center at the Cambridge Health Alliance / Harvard Medical School, and Newton Wellesley Eating Disorders and Behavioral Medicine. She comes to MSPP from Walden Behavioral Care in Waltham, Massachusetts, where she was Clinical Director of the Eating Disorders Program.
