Luis M. Falcón, PhD
Luis M. Falcón is a Professor of Sociology in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Northeastern University. He is a social demographer whose published research focuses on health related disparities among Hispanics—particularly, disparities in psychosocial stress. He is currently the Principal Investigator of an NHLBI funded project on Psychosocial Stress and Cardiovascular disease at the Center on Population Health and Health Disparities at Northeastern University. He served as Vice-Provost for graduate education at Northeastern University from 2004 to 2011, and was previously Associate Dean in the College of Arts and Sciences and Chair of the Sociology and Anthropology Department.
